Super Skunk feminized
Growth pattern of the Super Skunk
The Super Skunk feminized cannabis seeds bred by Sensi Seeds were developed as a stronger, more productive version of the world-famous Skunk # 1. This was achieved through the genetics of a pure resinous Afghani hash plant. This hybridization results in a plant that is 80% Indica and 20% Sativa. The seeds are feminized to provide an easier cultivation option for less experienced growers.
As with all feminized cannabis seeds, a key benefit is that the male plants do not need to be identified and removed. However, this is not the only benefit that the Super Skunk Feminized offers.
The seeds ensure an extremely uniform plant that grows only on average during the flowering phase. The plants are strong and conical and can usually be harvested simultaneously and at the same height, which makes work easier for growers.
This reliability, combined with its more compact stature, is useful for growers who use Sea of Green (SOG) or Screen of Green (SCROG) or who want the homogeneity of a cloned plant and the ease of growing with seeds.
The Super Skunk feminized has a relatively short flowering time of a maximum of 50 days. It is well suited for indoor cultivation and when 2 or even 3 harvests per year are desired. When the flowers grow, they grow very quickly. They also multiply so quickly that you see a change from one day to the next. The buds have a distinctive light green color, are pointed and have large, narrowly tapering calyxes.
Growers can expect high yields even if they have little experience.
The Skunk family was originally grown as a great indoor option; the Super Skunk Feminized is an excellent example of the success of these efforts. However, this does not mean that the plants have to be grown indoors. The Super Skunk Feminized also thrives outdoors in a Mediterranean climate. It is also suitable for greenhouses. Under these conditions, it is not uncommon for plants to grow to the size of small trees, especially when the summer is long and warm.
Effect, taste and smell of the Super Skunk feminized
As a rule, the Skunk varieties exude a strong smell (hence the name). The Super Skunk Feminized has a gentler, fruity aroma. The Afghani heritage comes through with earthy, spicy base notes that are particularly strong during the flowering period. This smell intensifies before harvesting indoors.
When the buds have hardened, they exude a gentler version of the original smell, which is also reflected in the taste. The sweet citrus note complements the warmer earthy notes perfectly.
And the effect of the Super Skunk feminized? Most consumers describe it as a mixture of stimulating, satisfying and relaxing. The euphoric effect is triggered by the sativa component, while the dominant indica genetics ensure a feeling of serenity. Some consumers appreciate this cannabis strain for its ability to counter stress and tension.
