Lighting, Grow Lamps
The right lighting for indoor growing or home growing
If you want to grow plants in your own four walls, you need the right growing equipment. Since plants need light for photosynthesis, good lighting in the grow box is of course essential. That is why, in addition to LED grow lamps, sodium vapor lamps (NDL) and ceramic metal halide high pressure lamps (CMH), you can also get the appropriate ballasts (VSG), reflectors and lighting controls for your plant growing.
The right lighting for every growth phase
For your ornamental plants to thrive as best as possible, they need a light source with the right color temperature. The choice of the correct color temperature depends on the current phase of the plant.
During the growth phase, the plant should be illuminated with blue or white light. The color temperature should be between 4000 and 7000 Kelvin. Illuminants such as high-pressure metal halogen lamps, fluorescent tubes (LSR) and LED grow lamps are therefore suitable for the growth phase.
In the flowering phase, however, the plant should be illuminated with a warm reddish light. During this time, the color temperature of the lamp should be 2700 to 3500 Kelvin. Sodium vapor lamps, energy-saving lamps (ESL) and LED grow lamps have such a color temperature.
