Northern Lights # 5 x Haze Feminized has won numerous awards, and for good reason. Growers achieve huge yields and enjoy a vitalizing and stimulating high. It is 70% sativa, but the 30% indica is evident from the numerous resinous buds. The scent is strong and earthy, with notes of citrus and pine. If the mother plants are well cared for, large harvests can be achieved year after year.
Northern Lights # 5 x Haze feminized growth pattern
Northern Lights # 5 x Haze Feminized cannabis seeds (sometimes called NL5 x Haze) consist of 70% sativa and 30% indica. They were developed by Sensi Seeds. The award-winning strain shows its sativa-dominant genetics through the high (and impressive high). The indica influence is evident from the lush yields and dense buds.
This is the feminized variant, which means that the seeds are unlikely to produce male plants. This is a great advantage for growers who want a simpler cultivation process. The plants have a somewhat longer flowering time (from approx. 65 to 75 days); this additional waiting time is offset by a short growing season.
Thanks to the Sativa heritage, Northern Lights # 5 x Haze plants can grow extremely large. This is particularly the case if they are grown outdoors. In fact, under optimal conditions, it is not uncommon for plants to reach a height of 2.50 to 3 m outdoors. They don't grow that high indoors; Growers can expect an average height of 1.20 to 1.70 m.
Structurally, the NL5 x Haze owes much to its sativa origins; large and narrow, with long branches. Your buds quickly fill the gaps between the internodes and grow long and fat over time. The end buds are sometimes wider and longer than the arm of the grower!
It is a high-yield cannabis strain. When grown indoors, growers often report harvests of around 450 grams per m2. Outside, the yield is around 800 grams per plant. The Northern Lights # 5 x Haze thrives in warm and sunny climates with long summers. This is mainly due to the longer flowering period. It is well suited for many trimming processes such as SOG (Sea of Green), SCROG (Screen of Green), lollipopping and supercropping.
Effect, taste and smell of Northern Lights # 5 x Haze feminized
Northern Lights Feminized # 5 x Haze is very sativa dominant. The sativa influence is particularly evident through the high, which ensures exuberance, serenity and creativity. Consumers often claim that it also makes them talkative, so a good choice to enjoy with friends. However, one should not underestimate the indica element. This comes through a little later - a deep, relaxing state of intoxication that calms the body and mind.
NL5 x Haze produces a pleasantly spicy, citrus-like aroma when it grows. This aroma intensifies at harvest and is very pronounced when the buds have hardened. It smells particularly strong when consumed! In terms of taste, users can expect notes of citrus and pine, as well as earthiness and sweetness.
