Feminized via Northern Lights
Northern Lights Feminized is easy to grow and offers excellent yields. It is a 90% indica dominant variety. That means it is compact and can be cultivated discretely. Consumers report a pleasant state of intoxication that relaxes the muscles and soothes the mind. The aroma is very indica: earthy, intense and powerful. This is also evident in the taste, which offers fruit and herbal notes.
Growth pattern of the Northern Lights feminized
Northern Lights feminized cannabis seeds are 90% Indica and 10% Sativa. The cannabis strain has Thai and Afghan genetics and was newly developed by Sensi Seeds. Now she shows many of the advantages of an indica-dominant plant: compact size, relaxing high and a short flowering time.
This is a feminized variant of the strain. That said, male plants are extremely unlikely. This simplifies cultivation, which is helpful for beginners. In addition, the Northern Lights Feminized has an extremely short flowering time (only 45 to 50 days). This is an advantage for growers who want quick results or multiple harvests per year.
Like many indica-dominant cannabis strains, the Northern Lights Feminized is relatively small. The plants generally grow to a size of approximately 80 to 130 cm indoors. This is good news for growers with limited space. When cultivated outdoors, however, the plants can reach a height of 1.50 to 2 m. That means they need more room to grow.
The Northern Lights feminized is bushy, multi-branched and strong. In optimal conditions, it develops many broad leaves and large buds and enables extensive yields.
The buds are characteristic. When they form, a thick resin coating is created. As a rule, they are arranged very densely. The plants thrive in warmer climates, especially in places like the Mediterranean. They can also be grown indoors or in a greenhouse.
The SOG trim system (Sea of Green) is ideal for the Northern Lights feminized and ensures excellent results. SCROG (Screen of Green) also works well, and lollipopping and supercropping are also effective.
Effect, taste and smell of Northern Lights feminized
Northern Lights feminized genetics are mostly indica (90%). This can be clearly seen in the resulting high. As can be expected from an indica-dominant strain, the high is very calming and intense. Consumers report that it relaxes the muscles and soothes the mind. The high is pretty strong. Inexperienced consumers should know this.
The aroma is also typical indica. It is strong, earthy and intense, but not too penetrative. This is an advantage for indoor cultivation or discretion when growing outdoors. The smell intensifies slightly when the buds can be harvested and becomes more complex after hardening. The fruit and herbal notes are then particularly clear and can also be felt when smoking.
