SANlight STIXX 50 LED grow light with 54 W power consumption

SANlight STIXX 50 LED Grow Light 54 W 3.0

The SANlight STIXX 50 LED 54 W 3.0 is a compact grow light for small areas, mother plants and one or more small plants. At a power consumption of 54 W, it delivers 150 µmol/s PPF within the emission range of 400 to 780 nm.

The matching power supply is included and allows light output to be adjusted directly at the driver. This makes the STIXX 50 a straightforward lighting solution without first having to select a separate driver combination for a modular lighting system.

Broad spectrum for small growing areas

The STIXX 50 combines a broad light spectrum with a compact design. The LED module measures 340 × 85 × 40 mm and weighs 0.8 kg including its connecting cable. The power supply and cable weigh a further 0.6 kg.

As well as dimensions, your planning should consider plant height, suspension and accessibility. A compact light is particularly useful when you want to light a specific, limited growing area and check it regularly.

Six dimming levels directly on the power supply

The rotary switch on the power supply offers settings of 10, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 %. Choose the light output to suit your plants and setup. These steps make it easier to adjust the setting deliberately without replacing the light.

When adjusting the light, also consider the position of the plants and their distance from it. The selected percentage alone does not describe how much light reaches each leaf. Observe your crop and adjust the setting again when conditions change.

Flexible orientation and passive cooling

The two included suspension eyelets with nuts allow the light to be positioned in three orientations. This lets you align the LED module to suit its mounting location. Passive cooling works without a fan and produces no fan noise.

Plan the space for the separate power supply as carefully as the module’s suspension. Cables should remain accessible and free from tension. An easily accessible installation makes checks simpler, including when moving plants or removing them from the area.

Package contents and first use

The package includes the LED module, power supply, connecting cables and two suspension eyelets with nuts. Check that the components are complete and free from visible damage before assembly. Use the STIXX 50 only with its included power supply.

Read the operating instructions before connecting the light and follow the specified sequence. When routing cables, provide strain relief and fully uncoil them. The light must be securely mounted and must not touch plant parts directly.

  1. Securely mount the LED module and maintain at least 15 cm clearance from surrounding objects.
  2. First connect the light’s DC cable to the included power supply.
  3. Only then connect the power supply to the mains and select a suitable dimming level.
  4. When disconnecting, unplug the mains first and then disconnect the DC connection.

Gentle cleaning of the light

Disconnect the STIXX 50 from the mains before cleaning. Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth with distilled water for the optics. Wipe gently and avoid scratching the optical surfaces.

Also inspect the suspension and cables for visible damage. Damaged components must not be used again. When working with the plants, keep the cables free from tension and avoid unnecessary mechanical stress on the light.

Ingress protection and safe use

The LED module is rated IP68 and the power supply IP66/IP67. The mains plug is not waterproof and must be protected from liquids. The LED module’s protection rating therefore does not apply to the complete power connection.

Do not look directly into the light source or cover the light. Provide sufficient airflow and maintain at least 15 cm clearance from surrounding objects. Always disconnect the mains before working on the mounting or wiring.

Why choose the STIXX 50?

The STIXX 50 is practical if you want a compact grow light with a power supply already included and a directly accessible dimming function. You can adjust light output in six clearly defined steps.

Flexible orientation and passive cooling complement the straightforward setup. Plan secure mounting and a protected mains connection at the same time so the lighting suits your growing area.
