The packages we send do not have any identification other than the GLS label, so there is no indication of the contents of the package. We cushion the boxes with soft foils and space-fillers to ensure that your order arrives safely. Our company DS Trade GmbH is indicated as the sender of the packages!

Grow Island has been welcoming its customers since 2015 in Vienna’s 2nd district, in a friendly, easily accessible store. Started in the idyll between the Augarten and the Danube Canal, we have become one of Austria’s best-known grow, head and CBD shops – with a stable genetic background and premium selection.
The true backbone of Grow Island are the four professional hangars, where we cultivate nearly 2000 mother plants at the same time – between 100 and 2000 specimens of each of the 103 available strains. One outdoor-indoor combination hangar ensures robust and stable genetics, a dedicated indoor hangar guarantees consistent premium quality, in a research section we continuously breed new hybrids and rare genetics, while in the modern indoor hydroponic hangar we achieve the fastest and cleanest growth. In the back of the store, you can also find seed-grown seedlings that thrive under the same careful conditions as our cuttings. This way, you can always be sure to receive the freshest and healthiest plants from us – whether a cutting or a seed-grown young plant. This complex foundation allows us to deliver several thousand fresh cuttings weekly to hobby gardeners, growshops and B2B partners not only in Austria but across Europe.

One of Austria’s most attractive features is that cannabis seedlings from the best seed banks can be purchased directly in stores – like here at Grow Island. The law only stipulates that these hemp plants must still be in the pre-flowering stage, so customers can obtain them as decorative plants. You can order the hemp seedlings – also known as clones – in packs of five, as we ship them in specially designed packaging for this purpose.
No, it's not necessary — you can place an order as a guest. However, if you register, you can save your favorites, easily look up your previous orders and shop faster in the future.
As soon as we hand over your package to the courier (GLS, UPS, or FedEx), we’ll send you a tracking number by email. With this, you can check the status of your package anytime.
You can pay for online orders only via bank transfer in advance – this is required for order processing.
However, if you shop in person at our store in Vienna, you can pay by cash or card, whichever is more convenient for you.

We always water the seedlings before placing them in a special protective box, which is then packed into a sturdy, well-padded cardboard box. This ensures that they arrive safely and in good health – even after a few days in transit.
By default, our system automatically selects the most suitable courier based on the shipping address and package weight. We ship using GLS, UPS or FedEx.
However, if you have a specific preference, feel free to write it in the comment section during checkout – we’ll do our best to accommodate it if possible.
In this case, one of two things usually happens: either the courier will try to deliver it again the next day or the package will be taken to a nearby Pick-Up Point automatically. That's why it's very important to follow the tracking link carefully, as you might not always receive a separate notification – or the email may end up in your spam folder.
Absolutely! You can collect your order in person at our Vienna store (Scholzgasse 6). However, please note that even for in-store pickups, payment must be made in advance via bank transfer when ordering online – only after we receive your payment will we prepare your package.
If your package or plants arrive damaged, please take photos of the shipping box, the special packaging, and all the plants together – not just individual leaves or details.
If the damage clearly occurred during shipping and we receive the requested photos by email, we will replace the damaged plants free of charge one time.
