SANlight STIXX 3/6 LED Driver 200 W IP65

The SANlight STIXX 3/6 LED Driver 200 W IP65 is the external power supply for STIXX 3-80 or STIXX 6-150. It suits an installation using one of these model series and provides up to 200 W output power for an approved light combination.

Your choice depends on which lights you want to operate and at what power. Consider the driver together with the intended lighting: a matched combination makes planning your installation clearer.

STIXX 3-80 or STIXX 6-150

The designation 3/6 refers to the two compatible model series. It does not mean that STIXX 3-80 and STIXX 6-150 may be mixed on one driver. Lights sharing a power supply must be identical; plan separate power supplies for the two models.

When expanding, check the model names of the existing lights and assign each group to its matching driver. This overview helps you assemble the installation and remains a useful guide for later changes to the wiring.

200 W in a modular system

Smart Driver Technology adapts operation to the connected LED modules. Within an approved combination, the lights can operate at rated power if their combined power does not exceed the driver’s maximum output of 200 W.

If the combined power is higher, the available power is shared between the modules. The individual lights then operate at reduced power. The number of lights and power per light therefore need to be planned together; additional modules do not automatically increase total power.

Optional dimming

An optional SANlight M-Dimmer or BT-Dimmer can be used at the blue connector. This allows you to adjust light output without changing the selected driver variant.

Before assembling your installation, consider how you want to control the lighting. A fixed setting and later adjustments place different demands on day-to-day use. Choose the optional dimming accessory to meet that need and plan for it separately.

Positioning and connecting the driver

The driver measures 231 × 90 × 41.5 mm and weighs 1.6 kg. When choosing its position, consider cable routes and access to the plug connections as well as the housing. An orderly arrangement makes checks easier before the first switch-on.

Start connecting the installation with the mains power disconnected. The sequence matters: connect the appropriate lights to the driver first, then connect the mains. Follow the SANlight operating instructions when selecting connecting components.

Connect identical STIXX 3-80 lights or identical STIXX 6-150 lights using approved connecting cables.
Seal open DC connections with the specified end plug and inspect the connections.
Then connect the mains cable. Follow the reverse sequence when disconnecting.

IP65 and safe handling

The IP65 rating applies to the driver. Its mains-side connection is not waterproof and must be protected from moisture. Choose an installation location where the mains connection can also be suitably protected.

Check that cables and plugs are undamaged before use. Disconnect the installation from the mains before working on the wiring. Damaged components must not be used; repairs should be carried out by the manufacturer or a specialist service appointed by them.
