SANlight STIXX 2-60 LED Grow Light 47 W

The SANlight STIXX 2-60 LED 47 W is a compact grow light with two LED modules. It is designed for growing areas 60 cm deep and delivers 127 µmol/s PPF at rated power. Its slim format is suitable for small grow rooms and shelving systems.

If there is little installation height above your crop, you can plan the STIXX 2-60 into the setup accordingly. Drivers and cables are sold separately; select any additional mounting accessories to suit the setup. This lets you gather the required components to match your installation.

Compact module for shelving and small grow rooms

With dimensions of 476 × 85 × 16.9 mm and a weight of 0.74 kg, the LED module takes up little space. Passive cooling works without a fan. The light may therefore be useful where the height of a larger panel complicates planning.

The intended growing area depth of 60 cm is a guide for the layout. It defines neither a fixed area width nor a specific number of plants. In addition to the dimensions, check the mounting points and the space required for safe clearances.

Full spectrum for different applications

The full spectrum is intended for growth and flowering. Typical applications include top lighting, vertical farming, and vegetative and mother plant areas. You can therefore plan the STIXX 2-60 according to the needs of your crop.

The amount of light reaching individual plants also depends on the arrangement and distance of the lights. With several shelf levels, it is worth considering each level individually: plant height, accessibility and wiring need to work together.

Plan the power supply to suit the system

The LED module requires a STIXX driver approved for it. The specific model and number of lights are essential when selecting it. The SANlight combination table shows which configurations are permitted.

Multiple modules on one driver must be identical STIXX models. A STIXX 2-60 must not be operated together with a STIXX 3-80 on the same power supply. Account for planned expansion before choosing drivers and connecting cables.

Installation and connection step by step

Prepare suitable mounting hardware, drivers and cables. Inspect the mounting location and all components for visible damage. Read the operating instructions before commissioning and keep the installation disconnected from the mains during connection work.

Accessible wiring makes later checks and cleaning easier. Cables must be routed with strain relief and fully uncoiled. Secure the module against falling and avoid direct contact with plant parts.

Securely mount the light and allow at least 15 cm clearance from surrounding objects.
Connect the STIXX 2-60 to the approved driver using appropriate DC connecting cables.
Seal open DC connections with the specified end plugs.
Connect the driver to the mains last; follow the reverse sequence when disconnecting.

Gentle care for the optics and setup

Disconnect the mains before cleaning. Gently clean the optics with a soft, non-abrasive cloth and distilled water. Scratches on the optics can affect how the light is directed.

Also use maintenance as an opportunity to visually inspect the cables, connectors and mounting. If damage is visible, the installation must not remain in use. Avoid tension on the cables, for example when moving or removing plants.

IP68 and important safety information

The IP68 rating applies to the LED module. The mains plug is not waterproof; the plug and socket connection must be protected from moisture and water. Plan the power supply accordingly.

Do not look directly into the light source when it is on and do not cover the light. Provide adequate ventilation. Even in a low shelving unit, the specified 15 cm clearance from surrounding objects must be maintained.
