Advanced 3D Chamber heating technology

One of the most important upgrades in the new Puffco Peak is the 3D Chamber. Unlike conventional chambers that apply heat primarily from the bottom, its heating elements are built into the ceramic side walls. The concentrate is therefore not heated from only one direction but is surrounded by a more evenly distributed thermal environment.

This side-wall heating supports more consistent vaporisation while reducing large temperature differences between separate areas of the chamber. The neutral character of the ceramic surface is well suited to flavour-focused sessions where aromatic details are especially important.

Integrated sensors monitor the chamber temperature in real time. Instead of simply reaching the selected heat level and then operating without adjustment, the system continues to regulate its output during use. This can be particularly useful when working with concentrates of different consistencies and densities.

The chamber reaches operating temperature in approximately 25 seconds. When the Peak is ready, it provides both light and vibration feedback. This creates a fast and easy-to-follow process without the need for an external heat source or manual temperature estimation.

Borosilicate glass and premium water filtration

The removable borosilicate glass attachment is more than an attractive design feature. When filled to the recommended level, water moves through the integrated percolation holes to cool and filter the vapour. This can produce a smoother and more balanced inhalation experience.

Water filtration becomes especially noticeable when using the higher temperature settings. The Peak aims to preserve the fuller character of the vapour while making its journey through the glass more comfortable.

The enlarged mouthpiece opening and redesigned internal air path support freer airflow. This system is complemented by the included Joystick Cap, which allows the direction of the incoming air to be controlled. Gentle movement of the cap can guide airflow towards different parts of the chamber.

The Peak can also be used without water in a dedicated dry mode, providing a more direct experience. Its removable glass design creates further possibilities through compatibility with suitable Puffco Peak and Peak Pro glass tops.

Joystick Cap – directional airflow control

The included Joystick Cap is an important part of the Peak experience. It does more than close the chamber: it also creates directional airflow. During use, the cap can be moved gently so that incoming air travels through different areas of the ceramic chamber.

This controlled movement of air can help distribute the concentrate more evenly and support efficient use of the 3D Chamber’s side-wall heating. Moving the Joystick Cap quickly becomes intuitive, adding a useful degree of manual control to an otherwise automatically regulated system.

An important advantage of this construction is that the additional control does not make the Peak more complicated. The device itself still operates through one button, while the Joystick Cap responds to natural, direct movements.

Battery performance and USB-C charging

The Puffco Peak is powered by an integrated 1700 mAh battery. According to the manufacturer, one full charge may provide up to approximately 35 heating cycles under suitable conditions. Actual battery life depends on the selected temperature, use of the Boost function and individual session habits.

An integrated LED battery indicator on the back of the device makes it easy to check the available charge. This allows the user to see whether the Peak is ready for another session or should be charged first.

Charging takes place through the included USB-C to USB-C cable. When used with a suitable compatible charger, a full charge requires approximately two hours. The USB-C connection is a more convenient and modern solution than the micro-USB port found on the original Peak.

The device lighting pulses during charging and switches off automatically when the process is complete. A suitable, good-quality compatible charger is recommended to support the battery’s long-term condition.

Versatility for different concentrates

The Peak is designed for concentrates with a variety of consistencies. The even side-wall heating of the 3D Chamber and its real-time temperature control help maintain the selected setting when the density or texture of the material changes.

Four temperature levels make it possible to choose a setting based on the concentrate and the preferred experience. Lower levels focus on revealing finer aromatic layers, while the higher settings prioritise more intensive vapour production.
