Barney's Farm - Pineapple Express

The Pineapple Express strain is a truly legendary 60% sativa hybrid from Barney’s Farm, now available in Grow Island’s selection. This plant features a myrcene-dominant terpene profile and a genetics pedigree that speaks for itself. Pineapple Express seeds are naturally highly resistant to mold and diseases and require no special skills to grow. It’s the perfect package, offering uplifting effects, therapeutic benefits and the most wonderful aromas and flavors.

Pineapple Express Weed is a cross between a Hawaiian sativa landrace selected by the region's farmers over generations and Trainwreck, a breakthrough genetic fusion resulting from the selective crossing of Afghan, Mexican sativa and Thai landraces. The Pineapple Express strain is a medium to tall plant, reaching a height of 110-140cm indoors, but also outdoors! It can grow over 2 meters under the right conditions. Flowering time indoors 55-65 days / outdoors approximately early to mid-October.

Pineapple Express grows into a dense but slightly stretched structure with contrasting light green foliage giving rise to super chunky, popcorn-shaped buds that shine lime green and yellow in color and are covered in highly resinous, heavy, sticky trichomes with fiery bright red and amber hairs and exudes unique scents of sweet pineapple and cedar, with undertones of spice and cedar.

Pineapple Express Weed has the typical effect of a sativa strain with a fast-acting cerebral high, long-lasting energetic effects manifesting as a rush of energy, an initial rush of energy followed by a calming yet energizing, happily focused and alert full-body high, followed by a feeling of relaxation and talkative happiness. The taste and aromas of Pineapple Express are distinctly tropical with freshly cut pineapple mixed with tropical fruit and mango with undertones of cedar and spice. Its smoky flavors are unmistakably funky and skunky, unique with a powerful citrus scent and an irresistible fruity citrus blend.
