Organics Nutrients - CalMag Alga

 

Featured in Grow Island's selection CalMag Alga is a fully natural soil enhancer rich in calcium, magnesium, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. It promotes rapid nutrient uptake, strengthens plant cell walls, improves microbial soil life and enhances nutrient retention. It also regulates soil pH (5.5–6.5), resulting in healthier, more resilient plants and higher-quality yields.

The product is approved for organic farming under Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007.

Benefits:

  • Natural source of calcium and magnesium

  • Faster nutrient absorption for robust growth

  • Balances soil pH between 5.5 and 6.5

Usage:

  • Spread on soil: 70–120 g/m²

  • Mix with substrate: 30–50 g per 10 L of substrate

  • Watering solution: 5 g per 1 L of water, apply once a week

Storage and Safety:

Store in a sealed container, away from sunlight, between 0 and 30 °C. Avoid inhaling dust and contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children and animals.

  • 80% calcium carbonate (CaCO₃)

  • 12% magnesium carbonate (MgCO₃)

  • Natural calcined algae
